About Us
Kurt Holm
Kurt was born and raised in Nebraska by a mother who imbued him with her love of cooking. Since then he has served up meals for family and friends that frequently elicit the response, “you should open a restaurant!”
In addition to his love and appreciation for food he brings to notakeout 17 years of experience in consulting. As president of Xoterik, Inc., Kurt has counseled businesses ranging from finance and law to independent movie producers and authors. After years of helping clients identify unmet needs in a given market place, he identified a huge unmet need for the day-to-day cook – a food site with just the right mix of seasonal menus, smart cooking tips and fun. In notakeout he marries his business experience with his passion for cooking seasonal, simple meals.
Kurt lives in the New York metropolitan area with his wife, Cassie, and two children, Al and Lily.
